Review: Tony Moly I’m Real Face Masks (Korean Skincare)

The weather has been changing from cool to warm to humid and back again, and it has sure been taking a toll on my skin. Some days I’m oily, some days I’m dry and some days I’m both. Luckily, I have these face masks to come to my aid.

Korean skincare has been recently popular in the U.S., and I have definitely jumped on the bandwagon. My friend Karlee (see her blog here) told me I really needed to check out the sheet masks in particular, and boy was she right! The masks I’ve been in love with are the Tony Moly I’m Real Sheet Masks ($3.75). I can find the majority of them at Ulta, but I know they are also on Amazon. Also, if you are anywhere near San Francisco, there is a whole store dedicated to Tony Moly in Japantown.

So these masks come in a pretty good range of types covering also any skin issue you could think of. My personal favorites are the Red Wine Pore Care and the Aloe Vera Moisturizing masks, but I enjoy all of them to be honest. I know $3.75 can be a little expensive for a one time use (especially when I found face masks at $4.29 for a 6 oz tube) but I think these are great for a little self pampering. I use maybe one of these a week (sometimes two if I’m feeling extra) but these are honestly so amazing for just taking a little time to relax.

My skin always feels soft and refreshed after each of these masks. I would definitely recommend these as a treat after a long day, but not something you need on a regular basis. They aren’t crucial to your skin care, but rather a little extra boost when you need it.

What’s your favorite face mask? Let me know in the comments!

xoxo, Jenna
