Review: Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation

Wet n Wild is honestly my favorite drugstore brand. Not only are they cruelty free but they are incredibly affordable. Their Photo Focus Foundation ($5.99) has been a hot product as of late, so I had to try it out.

First of all, that’s one of the cheapest foundation on the market. Also, there are 20 shades which is a much better range than most of the competitors. The best part though? This foundation is awesome.

I grabbed the shades Nude Ivory and Rose Ivory because I wasn’t exactly sure my shade (that’s the struggle with drugstore items). My perfect match is a combination of both, although I could probably get away with wearing either. The applicator is a little spatula which is interesting, I would’ve preferred a pump though.

I would categorize this as medium buildable coverage, and I use a beauty sponge and it works really well. So the reason I love this so much is it blends beautifully with various concealers and setting powders, and when it’s set, it last nearly all day. The setting powder  I use (Coty Airspun Face Powder) adds coverage and helps to make it last, but between the foundation and the powder, I get the most beautiful finish.

It’s really all I can ask for in a foundation. The only flaw I can find is it smells kind of funky, but the smell fades almost instantly and doesn’t really bother me.

Have you guys tried this? Let me know in the comments!

xoxo, Jenna
