The Colourpop Super Stock Shadows ($5) are my favorite products to use for super quick and easy eye makeup looks. These are cream shadows that are best applied with your fingers or a flat synthetic eye brush.
The shades I have (in the order shown below) are Drift, Tinsel, Cat Nap, La La and Puppy Love.
Colourpop does have these shadows in matte shades, but I find that the matte shades are a little harder to work with than the shimmer shades. The matte shades are just as pigmented but because they are cream, they are a little harder to blend. They work well as a base for a smoky eye or something like that though, but I prefer pressed powders for my mattes.
That being said, I love the shimmer super shock shadows. They are beautiful as a topper for an eyeshadow look or simply just put all over the lid. Because they are cream, there is no glitter fallout which can happen with high shine pressed powders. My favorite shade is La La, which is a gorgeous rose gold that can go with any makeup look.
Not only are these shadows great quality, they are cheaper than even drugstore options. The product I can somewhat compare these to (the consistency is a little different) is the Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Shadows, and even those are $6.99 each.
All in all, these are definitely worth the $5. Colourpop has a plethora of colors to choose from, so I would suggest trying a few shades out.
Have you guys tried these shadows? Let me know in the comments!
