Sonoma Style Gift Guide

Now that Thanksgiving is over, full focus is on the holiday season ahead. Christmas music is played on the radios, neighborhoods are being lit up, and shops are starting to bustle with the holiday rush. Here are some of my favorite local shops and wine country inspired gifts perfect for the holiday season.

For those in need of a spa day

Everyone loves a good spa day – whether it’s a trip to a luxury spa or a relaxing day at home. For the gift of a luxurious day out, I would suggest the Bliss Organic Day Spa in Sebastopol. This spa not only has everything you could want (facials, massages, body scrubs, etc) but they only use all organic products. See the prices on their website here.

For the gift of a little at home pampering, check out Wine Country Botanicals. All products are inspired by different places in wine country and use healing essential oils for relaxation and luxury. Currently, Wine Country Botanicals has the Wine Country Fire Relief Gift Pack ($15) that has four 2 oz bottles of some of their most popular products. Five dollars from each purchase of this gift pack will be donated to the Redwood Credit Union Fire Relief Fund, benefiting Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino and Lake counties effected by the recent fires. Check out all of their products here.

For the fashionista

The Sonoma style is effortless yet beautiful, and the local boutiques capture that. Here are a few of my favorites:

If you aren’t quite sure what you want to pick up, here are a few places that have some amazing items:

Healdsburg Shed – 25 North St, Healdsburg, CA 95448 – Healdsburg Shed is a wonderful one-stop-shop for gifts. There are items for the home (such as decor, kitchen ware, etc), luxury foods (like speciality sweets, spices, etc), cookbooks and of course wine!

Copperfield’s Books – locations in Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol and Healdsburg – This local bookstore chain not only has the best books for gifts, but they also have cute stationery sets and accessories (such as scarves and socks). A great way to support the local book store!

Dry Creek General Store – 3495 Dry Creek Rd, Healdsburg, CA 95448 – A historical general store built in Dry Creek Valley in 1881, this adorable stop is perfect to grab a gift on the way to or from one of the many wineries in this gorgeous region.

Montgomery Village Shopping Center – 911 Village Court, Santa Rosa CA 95405 – All the options of a mall without the claustrophobia. There are a ton of amazing stores from little local shops to more conventional options.
